「民生」－今天的酒樓外貌，雖與舊式茶居相差很大，但普洱壽眉和蝦餃燒賣依然陪伴著大多港人。當舖雖已逐漸少見，但仍然是港人集體回憶裡的其中一環。差館在眾建築物中鶴立雞群，不單吸引觀眾目光，更道出早期滅火工作原來也由警察兼任。十字路口的人力車站與民生息息相關，原來也曾是地標。

“Livelihood” – Today, restaurants look very different from tea houses in the past, but most Hong Kong people continue to enjoy Chinese tea and dim sum. Pawn shops, though not commonly seen today, remain a part of Hong Kong people’s collective memory. The police station in this photo stands out among the other buildings, attracting the viewer’s attention while narrating the fact that the police were also responsible for fire fighting in the early days. Meanwhile, the rickshaw stand at the crossroad, closely related to people’s livelihood, was once a landmark.
