香港大學中國歷史研究文學碩士課程同學會

本會創立於二零零八年，成立的宗旨在於推動本港中國歷史研究的發展、提升中國歷史教育素質；自成立以來，定期舉辦學術研討會及公開講座，以推動國史研習。本會更與《星島日報》合辦，每月一期的《根本月報》，由會員就重要歷史議題撰寫專題文章，並掇輯成書，名為《根本集》，期望能促發社會對國史研習的重視。本會曾連續多年舉辦多項中學學界活動，推廣中國歷史教育，同時鼓勵修讀中史的同學發揮所長，其中包括「全港中學中國歷史研習獎勵計劃」，「香港青年史學家年獎」及每年暑期舉行的國史研習之旅。

Founded in 2008, the Hong Kong University Master of Arts in Chinese Historical Studies Alumni Association aims to promote the development of Chinese historical studies and to improve the quality of Chinese history education, and to pursue these objectives it arranges seminars and talks and publishes articles in “The Fundamental Collection”, a monthly column in the Sing Tao Daily. As part of its advocacy efforts in secondary schools, the association has set up the annual Chinese Historical Studies Essay Competition for Hong Kong secondary school students and the Hong Kong Young Historian Prize, while site visits are arranged each summer to allow students to obtain practical experience in China.
